Sleigh Ride

Winter is approaching rapidly. Before you notice, it's time to send the Christmas cards. I made a Winter card in blue tones.

Image and sentiment are from Sleigh Ride stamp set #744. Both are stamped with Versamark ink. Image is heat embossed with Black Magic and sentiment with Satin Velvet embossing powders. It is die cut by using Star die from Marianne Design. I inked the background with Memento Summer Sky ink while it was still in the die. I used Sakura Glue Pen to draw a frame around the inked star and added Bridal glitter on top.
I covered sleigh and the horse with Dimensional Glue to give them a raised glossy look.
For the decorative matting layer I used Sticker Paper and die from same Star set. Sticker Paper is covered with Blue Raven glitter.

Flourishes are die cut out of Sticker Paper. I used MemoryBox Flowering Christmas Tree die. Tree was covered with Blue Raven glitter and cut in pieces. Little embellishments was cut from Mon Ami Gabby Silver Diamond Mesh.

Snowflake border is also die cut out of Sticker Paper. I used  die from Joy Crafts - Border with Ice Crystals. It is covered with Bridal glitter.
Dots on the background paper are covered with Brushable Glue and Bridal glitter.

I adhered 1/2" Double Sided "Tear-ific" Tape to the edges of the matting layer and covered it with Blue Raven glitter.

Early Bird

You just have to love those darling birds from Wilson stamp set #746. These images are also available as digis DIGI746b.

I used one of the images and the sentiment from the digi set. It's nice that you can make the as large as needed. Bird is colored with Promarkers. After coloring I covered bird body with Brushable Glue and  Autumn Sparkle Sparkle N Soft. His eyes and beak are covered with Dimensional Glue. This glue dries clear and shiny and it keeps it dimension. Fantastic stuff!

I adhered 1/2" Double Sided "Tear-ific" Tape to the edges of the matting layers and covered the tape with Impulsive Purple glitter.

To embellish my card I added some Mon Ami Gabby bling. Small Pearl Mesh was colored with pink marker and cut in pieces. I used some light blue Diamond Mesh on the background and one piece on the main panel.

Edges of the background layer are covered with 1/2" Double Sided "Tear-ific" Tape. I added Cloud Nine Velvet Glitter to the top part and Autumn Fire Tinsel Glitter to the bottom.

Autumn wreath

I would like to have Thanksgiving in Estonia. This holiday seems to be very nice.
I used digi images from Wilson #746 and Hats sets to make a small Thanksgiving wreath.

I merged pilgram hat from Hats set with adorable owl from Wilson set. My Thanksgiving owl is colored with alcogol base markers.

Sentiment is also digi image from the Wilson set. It is die cut with Ovel die and inked with Scattered Staw ink. I draw the oval with Sakura Glue Pen and added Golden Wheat glitter. For the matting layer I used white cardstock covered with Sticker Paper, 2 1/2" Double Sided "Tear-ific Tape" and Golden Wheat glitter. It is die cut with die from Spellbinders Label 18 set.

Wheat straws are cut with Silhouette machine. I inked them with Scattered Straw and Spiced Marmelade Distress Inks.  Branches are die cut out of Sticker Paper. For two of them I placed the die to the back side of the Sticker Paper. This way I ended up with branches facing opposite directions.
Branches are 'colored' with microfine glitters: Luau GreenTiger Orange and little bit of Gypsy Red.

Circle frame is die cut out of thin cardboard. I wrapped the twine around it to make it look nicer.

Little pearls are cut from Mon Ami Gabby small Pearl Mesh. I colored them red with marker.

I made a card with old Wiff of Joy stamp: Fall Willow with Grapes. I've had it long time but haven't inked her up until now. After coloring the image with Promarkers I masked it off and stamped some grass with Flonz Craft stamps from Grass and Meadow Borders set.

Flowers and leaves are die cut out of white cardstock with Spellbinders dies (Blooms Four and Sprigs). To color them I smudged different Distress inks to the plastic sheet, spritzed some water over it and placed die cut pieced in to the colors.

The sentiment is computer generated. It says: "Happy birthday!".
Matting layers re covered with double-sided tape and Purple Rain microfine glitter.

It is difficult to see it on the photos but I used clear embossing powder and self made stamp to add some interest to the pattern paper. Stamp was die cut out of fun foam with sprig die.

Materials used:

I decided to make a sparkly little notebook for this month reveal. I used adorable owl from Wilson #746 Digi set. It is printed out and colored with alcohol base markers. Some highlights was added with white Gelly Roll pen. To his belly and around the eyes I used Sakura Glue Pen to adhered the Buff Flocking.

It was pure fun to make the notebook cover using glittered lacy background technique. I took it one step further with masking. Piece of white cardstock was covered with 2 1/2" Double Sided "Tear-ific Tape". After removing protective sheets I used them to die cut two sprigs with Spellbinders die. The owl was adhered directly to the sticky cover. I placed the sprig shapes on top and then added another strip of the protective layer across the cover. Now it was time for the lace and glitters (see following photo). After the background was done, I removed the strip and covered revealed tape with Cloud Nine glitter. I used Luau Green glitter to fill the last sticky places on the cover.
Decorated cover was adhered to the black cardstock (just to make it studier) and I punched the holes for binding.

Here is the closer look of the lacy background. I adhered Daisy microfine glitter through the lace and after removing the lace, I added Tiger Orange microfine glitter.

Both banners are cut from the cardstock which was covered with 2 1/2" Double Sided "Tear-ific Tape". I added Luau Green micro fine glitter to one and Cloud Nine to another banner. "Hello" sentiment is from Diamond Medallion #530 stamp set. It's stamped with StazOn Jet Black ink on top of the glitter. I love how sharp the stamping looks on top of the microfine glitter.

Notebook sheets are designed in computer and printed out. On one side is the same adorable owl as on the cover and other side is a sentiment from the Gymnast #675 Digi set.

The next stop on our blog hop is Marie. Enjoy!
