Poinsettia

Hello my darling friends! It finally happened - I'm in a Christmas card mode. It was hard to start and I now I can't stop. Thanks to SNS I have lots of wonderful stamps to play with. You can select your own Christmas stamps from Sparkle N Sprinkle shop.
On my today's card I used Holiday Foliage by Rosiland Solomon. But before coming to her lovely stamps, few words about the background.
Golden layer is simple. Just cover edges with Versamark ink, sprinkle Gold Detail EP on top of it, tap off the excess and heat it with heat gun. To make the burgundy layer I used EP with embossing folder technique. Watch the tutorial in here. I used  doGraft - A Silent Night Ornate Background embossing folder and Burgundy EP.
After adhering burgundy layer on top of the golden layer I wrapped a ribbon around them. This panel is attached to the card base with foam tape.

For the sentiment layer I made a frame out of white paper with Spellbinder Label One dies. I inked the frame with Versamark and heat embossed it with Gold Detail EP. I inked the edges of the left over die cut with VersaMark again and heat embossed with Burgundy EP. Fantastic thing about SNS stamp sets is that they come with sentiments. I used one from the set, stamped it with Versamark and heat embossed with Gold Detail EP.

I absolutely love dimensional flowers. Then I saw this beautiful flower stamp, I knew I have to make it dimensional. I stamped 5 flowers to the white paper. It took some time to figure it out what petals will be on one layer. Next time I won't try to save the paper and stamp entire flowers as many time I need in same direction. That way it would be much easier to mark off the petals I don't need. We live and learn...

After coloring flowers with Promarkers I fuzzy cut them out, each layer smaller then other. To assemble them I used small amount of glue in center of each layer. After glue was dry, I used small foam squares under the petals to pop them up.

Diamond Dust glitter on the poinsettia is adhered with Sakura Glue Pen.

Here is on more photo to show the dimension of the flower and close up from burgundy EP. I like that it is a mix of different colors.

Baby Boy

Hello my friends! Week is almost over but I haven't shared any card on this week. I'm going to correct that mistake. I'm sorry I haven't left comments on your blogs. This month has been really nerve-racking. I wish I could say that it's all over now but it still continues.

Here's a card I made beginning of this month for a new born baby boy named Kris. I have lost my Mojo. Because I didn't had any idea I took inspiration from this beautiful card I saw in Pintrest. I don't have direct link to the blog post but it is made by talented Gretha. I absolutely love her card but I kept my card a bit simpler.
Both pattern papers are made by me. Edges of  them are inked with Blue Jeans distress ink. I forgot to add digital stitching so I had to pierce the holes and draw white lines with a gel pen.

I used a darling digi from A&T Digital Design named Ashee. I colored him with markers and added some stickles to his wings.

Die cut hearts and letters are covered with SNS Dimensional glue and Waterfall glitter.

Inside of the card I tried SNS Stickum Powder. This is really cool thing for adding glitter for stamped image. First stamp the image with VersaMark ink, cover it with Stickum Powder, heat emboss it and cover with glitter, and heat emboss again.

Materials used:
Stamps:
A&T Digital Design - Ashee;  Viva Decor Silicone Stamp - Floral Embellishments
Coloring: Promarkers, Flexmarkers
Inks: TH distress ink - Blue Jeans; Versamark
Embossing: SNS Stickum Powder
Papers: White and kraft papers from my stash
Dies:
Memory Box Dies - Precious Hearts, Classic Upper Alphabet; Spellbinder - Label Four Small

Punches: Martha Stewart Edge Punch - Lace Heart
Embellishments: SNS Glitters: Waterfall; MeiFlower - White Beaded Pearl Hearts; Ranger Stickles - Diamond; Self Adhesive 5 mm Rhinestones from My Little Ribbon Shop (colored with light blue marker); Pergamano - white gel pen; Doilies 3.5inch from My Little Ribbon Shop

I'd like to participate on following challenges:

Dahlia

Hello my friends! I'd like to share with you a card I made with gorgeous Dahlia stamp set and amazing Sparkle N Sprinkle Velvet Glitters.

Card base is A5 folded in half. For the matting layer I placed 1/4" Double Sided "Tear-ific" Tape to the edges of 9,9 x 14,3 mm white paper and covered it with Tiger Orange Velvet Glitter. To avoid white edges peeking out from the side I colored the edge with matching marker.

White layer is partially embossed with embossing folder. First I embossed upper side and then lower part of the paper. After that I used a Scor-Pal to make embossed lines both sides of the cap. Cap between the lines was big enough to fit two strips of 1/2" Double Sided "Tear-ific" Tape side by side. After removing the protective sheet I covered it with Cloud Nine Velvet Glitter. I stamped a sentiment on top of it. Edges of the embossed layers are inked with China Blue distress ink.

To make the dimensional flower I stamped four big flowers, colored them with Promarkers and fuzzy-cut them out, removing more of the outer layer from each flower. All layers are popped up with foam tape.
I also stamped three leaves, one middle flower and one flower bud. They all are colored with markers and fussy cut out. Flowers are adhered with foam tape on the middle and edges are clued down. They look  a bit more dimensional like this way.

For the sparkling leaves I adhered a 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape to a paper, used a leaves die and cut two off them. They all ware covered with Luau Green Velvet Glitter. After placing everything to the card, I added some blue color with markers to the Cloud Nine Velvet Glitter. A little tip: If you notice that some of the leaves are completely covered with flower, snip them off and use it on other place.

I used lovely WeeStamps freebie. I colored it with Promarkers and added lots of wonderful Sparkle N Sprinkle glitter to the cat's hat. Same glitter is also on top the hearts, but on there it is attached with SNS Dimensional Glue.

Inside of the card is kept simple - same papers and similar design as in front but no glitter.

Sunflower arrangement

Hello my friends! This week is full of fantastic news. I was asked to be a Guest Designer for Digital Delights. I got to play with one of their fantastic digi. Because I had to make an autumn birthday card, it wasn't very hard to choose the image. This lovely Sunflower Arrangement caught my eye immediately. Isn't it beautiful!

Paper strip with flowers are made with the same sunflowers as on the main image. I played around with these flowers and made my own pattern paper. All the stitching you can see on the card are drawn digitally. This time I even remembered to add them.
I used Sparkle N Sprinkle Moss Star EP on my matting layers. I also covered die-cut numbers, leaves and lattice with the same EP. I love how sparkling this is. Flower centers are covered with SNS Dimensional glue and  Bronze Splendor glitter.

I die-cutt four layers of each number and stacked them together. After heat embossing I colored the white edges with matcHing marker, so they are green all around. Edges of matting layers are also colored with the same marker.
Inside of the card is fully decorated. On the right side is a pocket for a gift card or money.
