Lager birthday

Here's a post you didn't expect :) It has been so long time since I made a card without using any images from Design Teams. I have bunch of fantastic digi stamps waiting to be played with but somehow I haven't had time for this. On weekend I had to take time to make a birthday card to my brother. This Sassy Studio Design image was perfect :) I printed it out quite large so most of the card front is filled with it. Beer glasses are covered with Glossy Accents and foam is made with SnowMarker. I heated it with heat gun to buff it up. A little warning: if you want to use a heat gun near the Glossy Accent, don't, apply it after heating, unless you want little air bubbles in Glossy Accents. On my card, it was happy accident. I like tiny air bubbles on the glass. It makes my glass even more real (you can't see it on the photo, but it's really cool effect)

The round sentiment in front is freebie from Nettie's Cards blog. She has lots of beautiful sentiment digis. They all are in English but 'cause I needed one in Estonian, I changed the text. I also deleted lovely swirls. I thought they are a bit too girly for this card.
Inside of the card is also simple. On the right side I made a pocket for a gift card.

Materials used:
Stamp: Sassy Studio Design - Lager Pin-up Sassy
Coloring: Promarkers, Flexmarkers
Papers: Dovecraft - Funky vintage; Blue and white papers from my stash
Embellishments: Glossy Accents; Snow Marker; Twine from my stash

I'd like to participate on following challenges:

Delightful Sketches - One for the boys
Love To Create Challenge - Challenge 57 - Anything goes

Enjoy the last day of this winter.

Ice-cream

As promised, here is my second spring card. Don't you love those warm sunny days when you can cool your self with delicious ice-cream. Even though it is too cold to too it outside right now, hopefully these days are not far.

The beautiful image with ice-cream is from Beccy's Place. I colored with Promarkers and Flexmarkers and added Glossy Accent to the cherry, chocolate, spoon and to the class. I colored one of the ice-cream light green. I love peppermint ice-cream. It's my favorite :)

Lacy spring

It's the last challenge at the Paper Makeup Stamps on this winter. Few more days and it's spring. Although the sun is shining and daylight time is much longer,  there's no sight of spring. Snow and ice is everywhere and it's really cold. But it is so nice to go home after work and it's still light and I don't even have to turn the light on in the morning. I love it :)
But back to this week challenge. This time we love to see your pastel creations. Just use digi image and pastel colors. Easy!

On the weekend I got some new dies. Spellbinders Floral Ovals was in my wish list so long but it was sold out in everywhere. But now I finally have it :) I just had to play with it immediately. And I haven't made easel card for a while. So here it is, my my lacy pastel spring card.

Sentiment: Congratulations
Sentiment inside: Happy Birthday!

I used PMS digi stamp named Moody for Dragonflies. This cutey is colored with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I added some stickles to dragonflies bodies and glitter pen to their wings.
I don't have label dies but I found an easy tutorial from Internet to make my own label. Look the tutorial here. I inked the edges of label with distress ink.

Now take a look to PMS blog to participate on the challenge and visit my teammates to see all those beautiful and inspiring pastel cards.

Easter card

I just came back from my evening walk with a dog. It feels so strange to share an Easter card. By looking the weather, I should share a Christmas card. It snowing, and it is gorgeous. Like a winter wonderland. Snow right now looks like a powder sugar or a sparkling flower soft. I would like to pick it up and clue it to my card :) Well, there is a lot of white on my card, so it is kind of snowy Easter card...

This lovely image is from Beccy's Place. It is called Easter Crucifix. Such a beautiful digi stamp. At first I didn't had any idea what to too with it, but I like how the card turned out. Image is colored with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I re-colored the stand and dots on the egg with golden gel pen and covered them and ruby with Glossy Accents. Tiny flowers are leftovers from MS border punch.

Materials Used:
Stamp: Beccy's Place - Easter Crucifix
