Missing You

Hi! I hope you enjoyed the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog Hop on Monday. Today I want to share a card made with Digital Stamp Set Hello Foxy 882Digi.

Supply list:
Hello Foxy Digital Stamp Set 882Digi
24kt Gold Microfine Glitter GM2038
Super Thick Gold Embossing Powder EP235
Grassy Green Flock FL103
Pewter Slates Tonic Craft Perfect Embossed Paper
Medium Nuvo Glue Pen
Hickory Smoke Distress Ink, Tuxedo Black Memento Dual Marker
Dies from Spellbinders (Classic Circles Large) and PoppyStamps (Grassland Border)
Promarkers
White and Green Cardstocks
Wooden Stars

I used one of the adorable stamps from Hello Foxy Digital Stamp Set. It's printed on the white cardstock and coloured with Promarkers. I fussy cut him out and run the sides Tuxedo Black Memento Dual Marker. This hid all the white peeking from the sides and makes it look like I'm really good with scissors :)

For the background, I used Pewter Slates Tonic Craft Perfect Embossed Paper. I sprinkled Super Thick Gold Embossing Powder over the paper and heat embossed it from underneath. I brushed Indian Gold Nuvo Embellishment Mousse to the edges, to bring out the texture of the paper even more.

Here are few photos of how I made the moon. First I drew a circle by tracing the outer edge of the Circle Die to the white cardstock. Then I used a Blender Brush to cover the circle with Mother of Pearl and Indian Gold Nuvo Embellishment Mousse. I used the same circle die to die cut the moon out.
I drew the same size circle on my computer, placed the sentiment in the centre and printed it to the thin copy paper. Then I adhered my moon on top of the printed circle with temporary adhesive, placed the copy paper back to the printer, removed the circle in the computer (and left the sentiment in the same place) and printed it again. I ended up with a sentiment which was in the centre of the moon.

I inked the edges of the moon with Hickory Smoke Distress Ink. I applied more ink to the bottom left edge.
I wanted the moon to be in the same level with the background, so I die cut the same size circle window to the background paper and inlaid the moon to its place. Edges of their meeting points are covered with Sakura Glue Pen and 24kt Gold Microfine Glitter.
And then I realised, I don't like the black text on my moon. I took the Sakura Glue Pen and covered the words with it. Then I applied 24kt Gold Microfine Glitter on top and I was happy :)

The grass is die cut with PoppyStamps Grassland Border out of green cardstock. I cut three layers of it and brushed some Indian Gold Mousse to the fringe parts, to make it look like the moon is reflecting from the grass.
To add the texture to the ground, I applied some glue here and there with Medium tip Nuvo Glue Pen and adhered Grassy Green Flock on top.
Edges of the matting layer are covered with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape. After adhering background layer to the centre of it, I covered rest of the tape with 24kt Gold Microfine Glitter.
To finish off my card, I adhered two wooden stars, which ware coloured with Indian Gold Mousse.

And now to my card. I made a pocket card with stamps from the Cherished Moments - Bride 875 Stamp Set.

Materials used:
SNS GlittersFascination [G1030], Cloud Nine [GM2000], Peruvian Lily [GM2014);
SNS Embossing PowdersSatin Velvet [EP209];
InksVersamark, Distress Ink (Tattered Rose);
Dies: Spellbinders (Radiant Rectangles);
Coloring Medium: Promarkers;
AdhesivesSakura Glue Pen, SNS Sticker Paper [99558], SNS 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape [SAT04];
Cardstock: White, Vellum, Tonic Craft Perfect Mirror Card (Burnished Rose);
EmbellishmentsNuvo Crystal Drops (Morning Dew);
Others: Lace, Corner Rounder, CraftConsept Embossing Folder (Budding Vines);

On the card front I used Glitter Lace Background technique: First I lad lace on top of the Sticker Paper. After making sure that the lace is laid down well, I poured Cloud Nine Microfine glitter on top and rubbed it on to the Sticker Paper well. I brushed off excess glitter and removed the lace. Rest of the sticky parts was covered with  Peruvian Lily Microfine Glitter.
For the matting layer, I used Burnished Rose Tonic Craft Perfect Mirror Card.
Did you know that it is possible to heat emboss on top of the Microfine Glitters? Here is a proof! I used Tim Holtz Stamp Platform, but you can do it without it as well. I placed the flower image towards the bottom, closed the lid of the Stamp Platform, inked the stamp with Versamark ink and stamped it once to the glittered background. Then I rotated the background upside down and repeated the stamping. I covered images with Satin Velvet Embossing Powder on and heat set it with a heat tool. The sentiment was stamped with same ink in between the images. It was also heat embossed with Satin Velvet Embossing Powder.
All the edges of this layer was covered with Sakura Glue Pen and Peruvian Lily Microfine Glitter

I ended up with one image being upside down. It was totally ok because I wanted to cut it out anyway. Actually, I planned to cut them both in the way that only dotted circles will stay. But after cutting the first one, I decided to pop it up with foam tape to the second image. I covered the flowers with Nuvo Crystal Drops (Morning Dew)

I stamped the same image on the vellum with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Satin Velvet Embossing Powder. I coloured the flowers and leaves from the back side of the Vellum. To the front side, I adhered a bit of Fascination Glitter with Sakura Glue Pen. This Vellum piece has adhered behind the circle window. The Burnished Rose Tonic Craft Perfect Mirror Card, which was used as a matting layer, is peeking through the Vellum.

I decorated the inside of the card as well. Left side is covered with a piece of Burnished Rose Mirror Card. A bottom of it is embossed with an embossing folder. 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape has adhered across the layer and it was covered with Cloud Nine Microfine Glitter.
For the sentiment layer, I cut a decorative oval with a die from Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles set. I added some colour to it with Tattered Rose Distress Ink. It was inked while the paper was still inside of the die.
The sentiment is also from the same stamp set. And again, I stamped it with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Satin Velvet Embossing Powder. To finish off this layer, I  drew an oval near the edge with Sakura Glue Pen and covered it with Peruvian Lily Microfine Glitter.
I made a pocket on the right side to hold a gift card.

I'm the last stop on the SNS Blog Hop. If you joined in from the middle, please go to beginning, to Belindablog, to see and comment all the wonderful projects you have missed.

Thank you for the visit!

Yellow Roses

Today I want to share a card made with new Sparkle N Sprinkle stamp and Microfine Glitters and Tonic Layering Dies.

Supply list:
Roses in My Heart 879 Stamp Set
Shamrock Microfine Glitter [GM2041]
Butterscotch Microfine Glitter [GM2051]
Promarkers, White Cardstock, Foam Tape

I started by die cutting White Cardstock with third largest die from Jasmine Sunset Tonic Layering Dies. This is large die, so you need an A4+ Die-Cut Machine for it. I scored the cardstock from the middle and folded it in half to form a card base.

I continued to die cut all the layers. For the first layer, I used third and fourth dies. The second layer is cut with the fifth and sixth die. The third layer is made with seventh and eight die. And for the fourth layer, I used ninth die.
I used a stiff brush to colour second and fourth layer with Citrus Green Nuvo Embellishment Mousse. To the back side of the first, second and third layer I adhered the 3/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape in the way that it will cover all the holes.
From the right side of the layers, I covered the Tear-ific Tape through the holes with Microfine Glitters. On the first and third layer, I added Shamrock Glitter. To the second layer, I added Butterscotch Glitter. To the second layer, I also added dots of White Nuvo Crystal Drops.

To make my flower cluster, I inked the flower from the Roses in My Heart Stamp set with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and stamped it three times. Images are coloured with Promarkers. From one image I fussy cut only the flowers. Rest of the two images ware cut out with a narrow white border all around and one of them was cut into pieces. Thanks to all those pieces, I could build my dimensional flower cluster.
I added some sparkle to the roses with Sakura Glue Pen and Butterscotch Microfine Glitter.

Please come back in a day and a half. SNS Design Team will have a Blog Hop on the 14th January at 9 PM Eastern time. Inspiration is guaranteed and you can also win a prize. You don't want to miss it!

Thank you for the visit!

Ice and Flowers

Happy New Year!

On my first card of 2018, I used few Sparkle N Sprinkle glitters and embossing powder and Tonic papers.

SNS Supply list:

Others:
Creative Expressions - Faux Quilled Leaves
Sizzix - Holiday Green Mini
Spellbinders - Rose Creations, Floral Ovals, Labels Eighteen
Craft Concepts Embossing Folder - Budding Vine
Distress Ink - Tattered Rose
Pearls

I had lots of fun to play with New Tonic papers and some old dies from my stash. Flowers are die cut with Spellbinder Rose Creations dies out of Pink Champagne Craft Perfect Embossed Paper. I love that this paper keeps its texture even after shaping it. Edges of the flower petals are inked with Versamarker Embossing Pen and heat embossed with Silver Detail Embossing Powder. In the centre of each flower, I adhered the pearl.

On the background, I used Chrome Silver Craft Perfect Mirror Cardstock. To add the texture to it, I embossed it with an embossing folder. For matting layer, I used Pink Champagne Craft Perfect Embossed Paper. To save this amazing paper, I cut all the flower from matting layer. You don't see it but Mirror Cardstock hides punch of flower-shaped holes in the matting layer.

Foliage is cut out of Sticker Paper with dies from Creative Expressions Faux Quilled Leaves set and Sizzix  Holiday Green Mini set. Quilled leaves are covered with Red Berry Glitter and branches are covered with Cloud Nine Microfine Glitter. To the berries, I added White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter Drops.

I liked this card, so I made another one with a similar design but in different colours and in the landscape. Instead of Pink Champagne, used Deep Sea Dive Craft Perfect Embossed Paper and switched Red Berry Glitter to the Caspia Sea Microfine Glitter GM2048. A bit of Broken China Distress Ink was used around the sentiment.
This card needed some balance in the upper right corner. So I made few dimensional dots with White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter Drops and covered them with Caspia Sea Microfine Glitter (one tiny dot is added to the bottom left side too - for the balance). After Glitter Drops was dried, I brushed off the excess glitter.

Thak you for the visit!

Snow Thankful

Hey! Today I'll share a Panorama Card made with three stamp sets. Snowman Couple - Christmas  Stamp set 872 is from latest Sparkle N Sprinkle reveal. A Winter Wonderland 517 and Tree Scene 723 are from last year but I think they are brilliant with Snowman Couple. My card has for layers: Background with A Winter Wonderland, second layer with Tree Scene, third layer with Snowman Couple - Christmas and top frame with sentiment.

One must have tool to make this card was Tim Holtz Stamp Platform. It was a huge help for me because I did all the stamping to watercolor cardstock. Thanks to the Stamp Platform I was able to get perfect impression by re-stamping images several times exactly to the same place. All the stamping is done with Metro Grey Nuvo Hybrid Ink. For coloring I used Nuvo Aqua Flow Brushes from Autumn Woodland set. I also used Bianyo Watercolor Brush Markers. I added sparkle to the Snowman Couple with Sakura Glue Pen and Meadow Spark and Fire Engine Red Glitters. To the snow pile in front of the Snowman I adhered some Shaved Ice Glitter with Sakura Glue Pen. And on top of that I added Nuvo Glimmer Paste (Moonstone).  I fussy cut top part of the images and left bottoms wide enough to adhere them to my Panorama folds. Tuxedo Black Memento Dual Marker was used to hide the white peeking from the sides of the stamped images.  To the Snowman Couple I also added some Nuvo Jewel DropsGrey Mist to their buttons and Orange Marmalade to their noses.

All the snow on the trees are covered with Dimensional Glue and Princess Elsa Frost from Frozen Glitter set. Snow on the ground is covered with Moonstone Nuvo Glimmer Paste

Sentiment is stamped with two inks to the Watrcolor Cardstock and then it is heat embossed. At first I stamped it with Metro Grey Nuvo Hybrid Ink and second time with Versamark ink. Because I used Stamp Platform, two stamped layers are exactly on top of each other. Versamark ink is covered with Clear Embossing Powder and it's heat set with Heat Tool. I drew a sign post my self and colored it with Nuvo Aqua Flow Brushes from Autumn Woodland set and few others Watercolor Brush Markers. I fussy cut it out and added some snow with Dimensional Glue and Princess Elsa Frost from Frozen Glitter set.

Following picture gives you a slight idea how this card is put together and you can see the layers. I had so much fun to make this card.

For the top layer I used a piece of pattern paper and cut an opening to it with Spellbinders Labels Thirty-Six. Last week I shared a card where I was left with  2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape protective sheet with snowflake shape holes in it.  Now I used it as a mask to make snowflakes with Moonstone Nuvo Glimmer Paste on top of the pattern paper. Edges of the top layer are covered with with Dimensional Glue and Princess Elsa Frost Glitter.

Materials used:
StampsSnowman Couple - Christmas #872, A Winter Wonderland #517, Tree Scene #723;
Glitters: Princess Elsa Frost [G1123] from Frozen Glitter set, Shaved Ice [SH101], Meadow Spark [G1014], Fire Engine Red [G1007];

Cat's Christmas

Are you done with your Christmas cards for this year or you still need to make some more? I have a fun card idea for you. I used a two stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle: Cat's Meow #870 and Snowman Couple - Christmas #872.

Those cats on Cat's Meow stamp set are adorable. I couldn't resist not to use them on the Christmas card. Both cats are stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and they are heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. Their ears, nose and eyes are colored with Promarkers. To color the cats fur I adhered Twinkling Clouds Sparkle N Soft and Elephant Flocking to them with Sakura Glue Pen. First I added glue to the places where I applied grey flocking. Then I moved on to adhere sparkling white. Rose Water Nuvo Jewel Drops is added to the cats noses.

On the original version of this chubby cat he looks like he's about to cry. That wouldn't be nice on a Christmas card. So I was careful while inking the stamp and made sure that part of his mouth was left without the ink. Rest of the mouth is drawn with a fine tip permanent black pen. He is much happier now :)

Sentiment from the Snowman Couple - Christmas stamp set is stamped to the vellum with Versamark ink. I heat embossed it with Silver Detail Embossing Powder.  I drew couple lines with Sakura Glue Pen to above and below the sentiment and covered them with Ballerina Microfine Glitter. After I had assembled entire card, it felt that the sentiment din't show up as good as needed. So I took a fine tip permanent black marker and covered embossed words with it.

To make the background I covered piece of white cardstock with 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape. Then I used MemoryBox Twilight Snowflakes die to cut snowflakes to the protective sheet of the tape. Because I used heavier paper underneath the tape and not too much presser while diecutting, I didn't had to worry about cutting the snowflakes out. It just cut the top layer.
I removed most of the protective sheet (left the snowflakes in place) and covered the tape with Nuvo Gilding Flakes (Silver Bullion). I saved the protective sheet. Come back on next Saturday to see how I use it on the other card :)
Then I removed protective sheet from the snowflakes and covered the tape with Cloud Nine Microfine Glitter.

All was left to too was make a matting layer and add some embellishments. For matting layer I adhered 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape all around the edges of the cardstock and adhered background layer to the center. Then I covered revealed tape with Ballerina Microfine Glitter.
As a final touch I added Rose Water Nuvo Jewel Drops in center of each snowflake.

And now, something exited! Do you know already about the SNS 2018 Creative Team Call? No: take a look to the SNS blog to read all about it. Yes: Well, what are you waiting for? Apply immediately! Your going to love it!

Sending Smiles

Hi! I had a piece of corrugated cardboard from a cookie box. And because flowers makes everything pretty, I thought Botanical Orchid Flowers stamp set #874 will give a new and beautiful life to a recycled cardboard as well. Here's my take on that.

Flower from Sparkle N Sprinkle Botanical Orchid Flowers rubber stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink to the watercolor cardstock. Tonic Stamp Platform was a huge help to get a nice and grisp image to a textured paper. It allowed me to double stamp the image without any issue. I heat embossed the image with Gold Detail Embossing Powder. For coloring I used Nuvo Aqua Flow Brush Pens from Autumn Woodland and Spring Meadow sets. For the pink I diluted Peony Pink Nuvo Embellishment Mousse water and got myself a nice and shimmery pink watercolor. I adhered some Berry Red Glitter with Sakura Glue Pen to inside of the flowers and also added Honey Gold Nuvo Glitter Drops.

And now, a bit more about the background. As I said, I used a corrugated cardboard from cookie box. I brushed some white paint here and there. After paint was dried, I sponged some Peony Pink Embellishment Mousse on top of the painted parts, making sure I don't cover all the white. I added Medium tip Nuvo Glue Pen some places and let it become tacky. Then I covered the glue with Radiant Gold Nuvo Gilding Flakes. For sparkle and texture I added Shaved Ice and Berry Red Glitter with Brushable Glue.

This cardboard had folds in it and I didn't want to glue them down. So I covered piece of cardstock with 3/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape (any width tape will work, I just had it on hand) and Berry Red Glitter. Cardboard was adhered to the center. Because flaps are not adhered down, the glitter will peek from the both ends.

Flowers didn't show up on the background very well, so I made a circle vellum background to it with white scalloped circle frame. Sentiment is from same Botanical Orchid Flowers Stamp Set. It's stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I drew a straight line underneath the sentiment with Sakura Glue Pen and covered it with  Berry Red Glitter.
